Mowing is one of the easiest—yet important—maintenance operations. Keep your mower blades well sharpened—this will avoid damaging your turf. We suggest you have your blades sharpened at least once a season.

Never mow grass by more than one-third of its height at a time. You should also avoid cutting the grass shorter than 1½ inches (~ 4 cm). The recommended mowing height is 3 inches. This will leave your turf better able to withstand environmental stresses such as dry weather, foot traffic, soil tearing and weeds.

For a dense turf, mow frequently, stick to an adequate fertilization plan and water properly.
