This premium blend is resistant to disease and extreme temperatures, and works wonders for elite sports fields, such as golf courses, soccer fields and baseball diamonds. It has excellent traffic and wear tolerance, and can also handle short mowing heights (15-20 mm). Its extensive root system and fine texture offer optimal safety and comfort for sports fields. While it does require regular maintenance, watering and fertilizer, it turns green quickly in the spring and has a dark green colour. Designed for sandy loam soils (50% sand, 35% silt, 12% clay, 3% humus), this grass is 15 mm thick and offers a slow lateral growth.
